If you already receive Centrelink, DO nothing, don’t call or go to the Centrelink offices. The phone lines and offices are experiencing high numbers. Both of the recently announced payments of $750 x 2 payments for concession holders and an extra $550 coronavirus payments will be automatically applied to you if you are eligible.

Have you lost your job or been stood down?

You if are applying for Centrelink don’t go to a Centrelink Office. Setup and login to your MyGov account go to www.my.gov.au . Once setup then login and find the link to the Coronavirus forms. Any payments will be backdated. You can also add this App to your mobile phone or other devices.
When setting up MyGov accounts you will need a lot of information in front of you such as your licence or medicare card and your last ATO notice of assessment (NOA) from your last lodged tax return. Be prepared with all of your information when you start your setup.
